Aligners
Invisible teeth correction for a beautiful smile - discreet and comfortable.
Aligners are transparent, removable dental trays that gradually move your teeth into the desired position. The trays are nearly invisible and can be removed for eating and dental care.
We create an individual treatment plan and guide you through each phase of correction. Treatment duration depends on the extent of the desired correction.
How does aligner treatment work?
We first check whether your tooth position is suitable for aligners. An impression or scan of your teeth is then taken and a series of trays is planned from it. You wear each tray for about one to two weeks, at least 22 hours a day. We check the progress at regular appointments. At the end a retainer secures the result.
Who are aligners suitable for?
Aligners suit adults and teenagers with mild to moderate misalignments such as crowding, gaps or slightly rotated teeth. For pronounced jaw or bite problems another orthodontic treatment may be more appropriate. Healthy teeth and gums are a prerequisite, so a check-up is part of it.
What should you know before deciding?
Treatment usually takes between a few months and around two years depending on the starting point. Costs depend on the scope; you receive a written cost plan in advance. Statutory health insurers generally do not cover the costs for adults.
